Insider View of Marigot Bay Marina
Providing a safe haven for yachts up to 280 feet, the Marina is an intrinsic element of Marigot Bay Resort and widely considered one of the Caribbean's premier yachting destinations. For guests arriving by land or sea, there’s a complimentary tour of the Marigot Bay Marina that offers fascinating insights into the workings of the island’s safest ‘hurricane hole.’
With 20 moorings and 42 berths which can accommodate impressive megayachts, the Marina at Marigot Bay is fully-serviced with high speed fuelling, metered water and electrical supply, dockside Customs and Immigration offices and a wide range of auxiliary services available via the Marina Office, from cleaning, polishing and specialist maintenance to provisioning with local produce, alcohol and tropical flowers.
The Personal Assistant Team liaises with every visiting yacht to ensure Marigot Bay Resort’s comprehensive facilities are highlighted for their enjoyment, including five-star dining at our four restaurants and wellness treatments at the famous Spa Village.
Personally conducted by Marina Manager, Troy Blanchard, this hour long experience takes place every Monday at 4pm, and participants are treated to a little history of the bay and many fascinating stories of the yachts that have visited - along with their often mysterious passengers.
Historically, Marigot Bay has been a safe harbour for visiting boats of all shapes and sizes for centuries, and as far as sea conditions go, the largest, most expensive yachts are safe here in our sheltered bay.
According to Troy: "Marine security is always of paramount importance in Saint Lucia and every place visited by yachts and people so we take it very seriously. Marigot Bay Resort and Marina collaborates with marine and land based police, private security experts and other local businesses to maintain our reputation as a secure, welcoming port of call for every visitor."
