Our indigenous people were the Caribs and Arawaks, collectively called the Amerindians. From historical times we have practiced 'fwoté' (massage), the healing laying on of hands. A 'fiksyon' (potion) is used as a 'pansé' (healer). This Fiksyon is a clear representation of the cultural potpourri of healing the body, soothing the mind and invigorating the spirit.
This tradition is now passed on from generation to generation. Today, we take a holistic approach to wellness and health as the key to longevity. Our treatments are based on ancient knowledge of the uses of herbs, oils and clays and are used to cater to your individual needs.
We offer teas based on your preferences and are handpicked from our very own herb garden located right here in the Spa Village.
This is a lifestyle, where we teach our Marigot Bay Resort Spa and Marina family how to continue healthy living using herbs and spices from your backyard garden and basic ingredients from cupboard at home. Participate in our Absolucian Wellness Programme conducted three days a week.
